DRAW ME CLOSER LORD
Draw me closer to you Lord, that I may touch your love in the blink of an eye; to feel the calm of your Spirit in an instant and have the compassion of Jesus throughout my earthly life.
May I walk Your path - the path of eternal life and love. May I put my footprints into Yours - that where You go, I, too, will follow.
Each step brings me closer to You
Each breath brings me closer to your voice
Each beat of my heart brings me closer to eternal life.
And when I kiss the lips of death, no longer will it be a mystery; for You will await my humble soul and reveal the peace for which I have always craved.
